Our ministry purpose is to be an extended family to children in our community, and to support their parents in their role of training their children in the way they should go. The Bible tells us in Luke 2:52 that “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” We select activities and experiences which allow children to grow and develop as Jesus did. Our teachers provide guidance and activities to help each child develop language, pre-reading, prewriting, and other foundational skills appropriate to his/her stage of development. Play is a child’s work, so our classrooms are set up in learning centers where children can play. As children play they grow and develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. We have chosen Wee Learn curriculum which provides theme units of study that give children the opportunity to learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, family, others, and the natural world.
